Poor Joe....
My 2005 Jetta TDI wagon has 220ft lb of torque, gets 55 mpg, hasn't sacrificed storage hauling or safety for mpg, and runs on 100% biodiesel from recycled waste veggie oil.
Your prius still uses gasoline refined from dino juice, so who exactly is trashing our air?
Toyota is the largest manufacturer of trucks and SUVs in the world and without the prius, its overall fleet mileage would hover around 20 mpg. Do your homework.
Lots of smug polluting ol' southpark these days.

Ok, so everyone talks about vw being a great company and building great cars. but still they ignore Hybrid technology, until recently it seems. to much talk and not enough action. Toyota Built the Toyota Prius Hybrid and first sold it back in 1997. ten years latter they are selling record numbers each month. why, many reasons. the cars create 90% less pollution than ordinary old technology gasoline only vehicles; like the vw. it's about time vw, get to doing something and selling a Hybrid and stop promising and talking. this is an embarrassment. I drive my 2004 Prius Hybrid. I have 116,000 trouble free miles on the car and it runs and drives like new. For $20 dollars worth of gasoline, I can drive over 400 miles. thats the advantage of the Full and true hybrid, such as the Toyota Prius. It's out of this world. Toyota, You really are the best. VW, you can learn from toyota. just do your homework. and stop building cars that ruin the air we need clean to breathe. dammit!
