I agree with the Pastor about Santa creating greed in children, lets get one fact straight telling your Children Santa exists and climbs down chimneys giving away presents is a lie, and parents are coherced into lying to their children, the day comes when a child finds out Santa is a fake creates anger at parents and causes some Children not to ever trust their or respect their parents wholeheartedly.

Teaching kids that by making a list and waiting for Santa is the most stupid thing to teach Children, why not tell Children the truth from the onset, and teach them the joy of giving and earning and saving. How about this one for your thoughts rearrange the letters of Santa and you get Satan, who is the father of lies.

The Bible teaches this that if you teach your Children early in life that they will not depart from that way or teaching, so by misleading your Children and lying to them you are teaching them a way of life built on deception, lies and unreasonable expectations. Theres nothing wrong with giving gifts at Christmas time thats what the three wise men did at the birth of Christ. How about we teach Children about Jesus instead of replacing the truth with Santa or should I say Satan.

The Pastor is obviously aware of lust how few people quietly go to church to celibrate the birth of Jesus, but prefer to tell their children a pack of lies ,give them everything they want ,stuff their faces, then get blind drunk.
But hang on a minute... its not only the birthday of the baby Jesus ,but also the birthday of the old fat guy in the red robe with the great big white beard.
You'll find him painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel ,where Leonardo da Vinci painted him touching Adams finger,giving him life.
Old Whathisname...Ah I remember .The Romans called him JUPITER and the Greeks called him ZEUS..and yes! its his birthday too..
That explains a LOT.

Santa Clause... Don't lie to your children. Do you like it when people lie to you? What was the message of 'the reason for the season'? Was it deception and consumerism, or was it honesty and selflessness? How can a child learn how to be honest and selfless when the whole society is teaching the child to be deceitful and greedy?
'What do you want for Christmas little boy?' Every poor parent's nighmare. 'But, Mom, Santa at the mall told me I could have a pony! Santa's a liar!' Great... What have we done? This 'Great' society has desecrated the 2nd most important holiday that belongs to faith that founded this country. Nobody REALLY cares about Jesus. But now we're stuck. Are you going to tell your kids next Christmas that he can't have any gifts? Commercialism, Greed, Dishonesty... These are the driving forces behind what we 'Christian' Americans so readily call X-mas.
